I have said it before, but we live in the best corner of the world!
This year we decided to spend Thanksgiving where it all started, so we headed up to Plymouth Rock, and Provincetown, MA.
We started out at the Mayflower.
It’s always fascinating to see history and imagine what those who came beofre us may have been through.
The ship was a lot smaller than we thought it would be.
And the living quarters felt very cramped. It is amazing to see the sacrifices they were willing to make to come here.
The day was freezing, and we were all miserably cold, so it was great to imagine how they would have felt coming across the water at about this time of year.
… and arriving at Plymouth Rock.
After Plymouth, we went to Provincetown, MA to spend Thanksgiving dinner with some friends. A great ending to a great day!
